Importance of Volunteering Volunteers are and always have been the heart and soul of WV Health Right. Because of tremendous volunteer support, the clinic has been able to make significant differences in the lives of our patients. Volunteers are used in a variety of capacities throughout the clinic: special projects, fundraising, development projects, front office/medical records, counseling, dental services, oral health, pharmacy and primary care medical services. Health Right would not be able to offer these programs and services without the assistance of volunteers. Over 450 active volunteers gave 40,000+ hours of service to Health Right last year! Valued at over $2.2 million, this support allowed the clinic to provide high quality, compassionate, accessible health care and community services to thousands of people! WV Health Right is a real example of the key to community support and we invite you to join us. These are the clinic’s current volunteer positions: Physician Dentist Dental Hygienist Certified Nurse Practitioner Psychiatrist/Psychologist/Therapist Pharmacist Registered Nurse, LPN, and EMT Medical/Pharmacy/Dental Assistant Medical & Dental Student Pharmacy Student Front Office Volunteer Special Events Volunteer Counseling Special Projects Volunteer Computer Networking To join us, call the clinic’s volunteer coordinator at 304-414-5936 or e-mail Nancy Hill at nlhillwvhr@aol.com with any questions you may have. |
